How Shall We Know
Things will come that cannot go And those who ask, alone shall know
The time will pass but not for long As voices find themselves in song
The night shall fall upon itself As trophies seize the empty shelf
The mute will speak but not of words As shepards join the wandering herds
The thieves shall catch the ones who caught While children teach the ones who taught
The mouth shall yield unto the ear As silence comes to those who hear
The dreams will find themselves in light As darkness fades into the night
When numbers yield a greater sum It's then you'll know the time has come |
